Two 4″ long-throw woofers work as built-in dual subwoofers and reach 38 Hz, driven by nine class-D amplifiers — one per driver — for 400 W RMS. Nothing goes in the corner of the room.

It joins what you already own
Chromecast built-in, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, with Alexa built in and support for Google Home and Apple HomeKit. One HDMI cable to the TV and it is running.
Late nights
Dialogue you can hear at low volume
Night mode holds the loud peaks down so speech stays intelligible after everyone else is asleep, and voice enhancement rescues mumbled lines. Both are two taps away in the Smart Control app.
Formats
Whatever the disc or the stream sends
Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, MPEG-H and Sony 360 Reality Audio are all decoded natively, and stereo is upmixed rather than left flat. AMBEO OS updates over the air, so the list gets longer.

Will it fit?
105 cm wide and 7.7 cm tall. It disappears under the screen.
Slimmer and lighter than the Max at 6.3 kg, so one person can lift it onto a wall bracket. It calibrates itself using the bar’s own microphones — there is no measurement mic to position — so it corrects for wherever it ends up.

No. Two 4″ long-throw woofers inside the cabinet act as built-in dual subwoofers and take it down to 38 Hz. Sennheiser sells an optional AMBEO Sub separately if you want more low end in a larger room, but the bar is designed to work on its own.
No. This page is only about the AMBEO Soundbar | Plus — 9 drivers, 7.1.4 channels, 105 cm wide, 38 Hz. The Max is a larger 13-driver 5.1.4 bar reaching 30 Hz, and the Mini is smaller again. Different products, different prices, different sound. Every specification on this page is the Plus’s.
It is 105.1 cm wide, 7.7 cm tall and 12.1 cm deep, and weighs 6.3 kg. That is slim enough to sit under most screens without blocking the picture, and light enough for one person to wall-mount. Measure the shelf first.
Any TV with HDMI ARC or eARC — essentially every TV sold in the last decade. There are also two HDMI inputs for a console or streaming box, plus optical and analogue inputs for older sets.
A few minutes, once. The Plus calibrates using its own built-in microphones — there is no separate mic to place — so you start it from the app or the remote and it corrects for your room. Repeat it only if you move the bar.
Yes. Night mode compresses the loud peaks so dialogue stays audible at low volume, and there is a separate voice-enhancement setting for mumbled speech. The microphones can be switched off entirely if you would rather they were.
